Application Process Lead (Santiago, Chile)
Want to be the bridge between Silicon Valley and Chile’s bubbling start-up environment? YouNoodle is looking for an outstanding project manager to take a lead on the application process for Start-Up Chile, one of the most ambitious national entrepreneurship programs in the world.
You will assist applicants to Start-Up Chile from all over the world in putting together high-quality and concise applications to the Program. You will be responsible for helping as well as screening applicants, and working directly with our San Francisco team in orchestrating the comprehensive judging process of Start-Up Chile.
You are self-motivated, trustworthy, and diplomatic, and you have exquisite attention to detail. Perfect command of English and Spanish is required, as you are working with a US company but will be based in Chile. You are also a master at Excel, and ideally you have basic SQL skills as well. Nothing falls through the cracks when you are in charge, and people around you love working with you.
You will be based at the Start-Up Chile office, and be our helpful, attentive and always smiling representation in Santiago. You will most likely travel to San Francisco for training, and several YouNoodlers will see you in Santiago throughout 2012. The initial project period is full-time for three months, but with expectation of extension for the rest of 2012 and possibly beyond.

Being part of a startup
Interested in a job in the startup world? Be aware of how it differs from other types of jobs, for better and worse. Talk to friends or acquaintances in startups, and understand what drives them and how that aligns with the values of the startups they are in.
At YouNoodle, we are blessed with lots of qualified candidates for our jobs. This means that you will not always get a reply when you inquire for a job, and we hope you understand that as a startup, our available recruitment time is limited.
To ensure the best chances when applying to our (and other) startup(s), be sure to read Mashable's excellent interview guide for startup jobs. You will understand us so much better :-)
