ABOUT US
In the fall of 2008, the creators of My Webwill became aware of the problem of digital identities remaining on the Internet after the death of the originator. One of the founders had attended a workshop in Holland with the aim to identify growing problems on the Internet and this is where the idea was born.
We got in touch with despairing relatives who were stuck in time-consuming and impossible processes trying to contact the big Internet sites. Contacting the sites proved to be next to impossible and without the passwords the relatives were powerless. Some were worried that publicly valuable information, such as the blog of the deceased, would disappear and some did not want the information to remain.
We wanted to offer a service providing an insurance for your digital life and assets. This is why we started My Webwill.
