ABOUT US
Every day, millions of Children in the United States alone are starving. 12 million American children are at risk of going hungry. Around the world, many families are in desperate need. Many times children are the ones impacted the most by poverty, death, disease, and disasters. LottaBucks.com is a part of the solution. Our goal is to help provide food and supplies to children and their families through LottaBucks.com for the nonprofit Save the Children (STC).
As student entrepreneurs we believe that we can make a difference using technology, the Internet, and the basic concepts behind the Lotto to generate revenue. Facebook just reached 300 Million users. Our goal is to incorporate Facebook into LottaBucks using Facebook Connect. Facebook Connect enables websites to offer Facebook users an opportunity to login to LottaBucks using their facebook account. As college students and avid Facebook users, we can tap into this large user base and increase the amount of LottaBucks users. No child should ever go hungry. LottaBucks will be one source of funding to help feed children in need.
LottaBucks.com is a website to help raise money for STC. We plan to use a fun, online based lottery system that users can play to generate revenue. After a user completes a simple survey they will have the option to choose 5 numbers in hopes of winning the jackpot. 20% of our earnings will be donated to STC. If LottaBucks attracts 100,000 users that fill out the survey twice, LottaBucks would generate $40,000 for Save The Children.
