ABOUT US
Genuine entrepreneurs are not the usual business people whose be-all and end-all of existence is profit.
Entrepreneurs of the 21st century are real people with sound business sense and smart social conscience.
Entreprize PowerHouse is honored and privileged to host the constant meeting-up of such young and elder entrepreneurs.
MANIFEST GREATNESS vf24jan2010
The Entreprize PowerHouse Manifesto
by Marc Guerrero
WE COME TOGETHER with the great hope that there should be no poor Filipinos among the 90 million in Philippine homeland, and over 10 million in more than 100 countries across the world, whom, instead of living life to develop their full potentials, are left with no choice but to exist and survive, rather than thrive, from day to day, for the past more than
30 years.
There should be no poor people among the six billion in the world – regardless of class, color or creed – specially for those who value work and discipline, those who are “self-drivers” and “go-getters,” and those who are doing, accomplishing and achieving
great undertakings and endeavors, not only for thy self, but also for others.
An ideaology of prosperity rather than that of survival shall be instilled and nourished proactively. The penchant for selfpity shall be discarded, and in its place, an attitude of pride and recognition of selfworth shall be inculcated.
The spirit of independence, nationalism and patriotism which is respectful of all Faiths shall be reestablished, from this generation through our children’s generations.
Failures of the past shall be remembered only for the lessons they offer, but not as justification to fear the future and the great opportunities the future brings.
The attitude of optimism that is inherent in the Filipino must prevail.
THERE OUGHT TO BE NO POOR Filipinos nor there should be a culture of poverty of the mind, a culture of poverty of the heart, a culture of poverty of the spirit, and of the imagination as well, among the inherently happiest people on earth, born in the naturally richest lands, seas and airs of Asia, and whose creativity and compassion are awe-inspiring and life-enhancing.
There ought to be no sick Filipinos nor there ought to be a culture of disease in the mind and a culture of disease in the spirit among the inherently healthiest people on earth who had anciently known that nature can heal and whose hands and hearts can heal the
world.
There ought to be no more elder or younger Filipinos – no male, no female, no lesbian, no gay, no bisexual, no transgender, no persons with disabilities and no indigenous peoples – who will live in a culture of constant shame and fear and in a culture of relentless greed any longer, aggravated by the lies and deceit and synonymous impropriety of their leaders that their followers may think to be all right and in order, anymore, be they of and by their own doing or undoing, because from this day onwards:
WE TAKE CHARGE. We invest.
You and I will take charge of our own destiny.
You and I will invest our time, our money, our talent, our energy, our technology, our entrepreneurship, our resources in evolving our complex present from an uncertain past into a colorfully better future.
We do this because it is not only our own future that is at stake. It is also that of our children, our grandchildren, our nation’s and our universes’ future.
Our loved ones and others, they, too, deserve to live life in freedom with responsibility and
responsiveness to the call of the times. They, too, should live life in happiness and in health, as did our great ancestors from whose discipline, truth, wisdom and values this manifesto takes inspiration, and better than we do today.
The future is here.
In constant pursuit of enlightenment and divinity, imagine love, imagine peace, imagine synergy, imagine anything and everything there was, there is and there will be in great positivity, probability, possibility and proactivity. That future starts in you and me, in our youth – right here, right now. Make our future your personal challenge. Inspire others, believe, live, learn, leisure, and share your blessings with one another… so that we may all thrive
together; eternal. #
