Description: - Worked in the development group at Hunch, a web start-up for a recommendation engine based on user input and machine learning
- Developed quality review and administrative pages using Python/ Django
- Worked on user clustering algorithms, using Orange and Hcluster Python packages, to distribute users into groups of common interests
- Used natural language processing with SOLR to detect duplicate user generated content
- Built a tool for Google bid optimization and achieved significant reduction in bidding costs through optimizing default bids for a given budget
