Mr. Jensen has more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, business and technology consulting focusing on policy, strategy, management and operational consulting in the utility/energy, technology, manufacturing and governmental markets. Mr. Jensen founded a clean-tech venture backed startup as a spin-off from SAIC, a Fortune 500 company, advised startups in IT, energy, materials, and public-private partnerships in the US and Mexico. He has advised more than 50 large companies including AT&T, Bayer, Bank of America, Chevron, Dow, Sony, Safeway, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), Kaiser Permanente, General Motors and Toyota as well as federal and state governmental agencies, including U.S. EPA, Department of Energy, and State of California agencies, and many US major cities.
Mr. Jensen has lectured on the sustainability, the environment and entrepreneurship at Stanford University and the University of California including two years as a core lecturer for UC Berkeley’s Venture Design Program where he specialized in financial planning and clean technology. He has presented at several conferences on sustainability including those on Eco-Efficiency and Industrial Ecology convened by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the White House Conference on Pollution Prevention. Mr. Jensen has published articles on technology, business and environment in various publications including Red Herring Magazine, written books on clean technologies, sustainable communities, and California environmental and development laws and pollution prevention, and served as a judge and advisor to socially-responsible business plan competitions at Stanford University and UC Berkeley.
