Description: Main responsibility was: In 1993 the mechanical engineering department was recently established at Philadelphia University so I was involved in team work to establish, build and run the different laboratories and workshops in the department. This work mainly involved the following:
*To select the equipment required for each laboratory and for the workshop and the specification required for these equipment.
*To study the contracts offered to supply the required equipment and to recommend the most suitable one that meets the required specification.
*To receive the equipment, to check that they are the required equipment with the required specifications and to operate them and insure that they operate in good manner.
*To prepare the required lab-sheets for the experiments to be done by the students using these equipment.
*To teach and supervise the students to perform the required experiments.
*To make the necessary maintenance for the equipment.

Position: Maintenance and mold engineer
Time period: April 1992 - March 1993
Description: I worked at their factory that produces plastic bottles
Main responsibility was:
*Supervisor for manufacturing plastic injection molds and blow molding molds.
*Maintenance of the molds.
*Loading and unloading of the molds on the machines.
*Calibration of the machine to give acceptable products, this includes calibration of the injection temperature and pressure, the flow rate of plastic per stroke, the flow rate of cooling water…etc.
*Maintenance for injection molding machines and blow molding machines.
