Description: • Provide custom consulting services for US Government Food Service contractors including: end-point security, remote access, helpdesk support, and Quality Control maintenance for workstations
• Manage several Quality Control workstations with Palm barcode readers by Symbol; train multiple Quality Control Managers to be proficient with the devices; perform on and offsite maintenance to repair and upkeep day-to-day operations
• Deploy an Internet-based and automated backup solution for a Chicago and California based company
• Provide Remote Support and Troubleshooting Support for business/U.S. Government sites across the United States

Description: • Reengineering of legacy Java batch application that provides daily adjustments in performance rate-ofreturn figures for over 6000 Hedge Fund clients worldwide
• Utilize new SQL stored procedure logic which restated nearly 300 Hedge Funds lacking data for over 1 year
• Leverage distributed computing model to provide scalability and resiliency and reduced average run time from 3 hours to ~15 minutes for daily batch process
• Eliminate stress on primary server, legacy code dependence, and provide accurate metrics for management
• Develop in enterprise CVS environment and provide detailed regression, unit testing, and code reviews

Position: Network Engineer, Intern
Time period: April 2007 - July 2007
Description: • Create a Java Application to maintain over 300 Cisco PIX and ASA devices with batch password changing, batch TFTP backup, and device/model inventory exporting. Application is used daily in the enterprise environment and the information has been used to provide accurate metrics for upper management
• Analyze 9.3 million firewall records over one weeks time in order to transition the 2683 unique IP Addresses to an ISP DNS server. Advantages of the project are to increase performance, reduce bandwidth consumption, and insure a better quality of the enterprise’s network
• Manage and administer CheckPoint firewalls, Cisco PIX and ASA devices, Juniper SSL-VPN users and servers, FTP server on the DMZ, and over 1000 concurrent site-to-site IPSec VPN tunnels
• Setup users for AT&T Global Network Services (AGNS) connectivity with RADIUS authentication
• Act as 3rd level support to troubleshoot VPN connectivity issue with the carrier and customer. Perform full DSL to T1 ISP migration for a multiple site-to-site customer
