Filtration avoidance status ofseveral of the member agencies require the production of an annual Watershed Control Program report. Staff maintains the organization’s ”Drink Tahoe Tap” outreach program, which is an interactive activity hosted at local events designed to raise awareness of the quality and value of municipal drinking “tap” water. |

My primary duties were the research and development of a comprehensive water conservation outreach program for a special district located on the Central Coast of California. Major Duties: Development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Nipomo CSD water conservation, water quality protection, and waste management programs. Creation of pollution prevention, water conservation, recycling, household hazardous waste flyers, brochures and website postings. File water quality compliance reports as directed by the General Manager. Generate press releases, conduct media interviews regarding conservation issues and programs. Write copy, shoot photographs and layout the NCSD bi-monthly conservation newsletter/bill stuffer. Grant writing as directed. Budgetary management of conservation program expenses. Recruit conservation event volunteers and supervise volunteer staff. Conduct monthly, all-staff safety training sessions. Research safety issues and create a safety programs for District employees. Provide staff support to general office operations. |
