  • 1. Silicon Valley programme

    If you have participated in Venture Cup within the last 10 years and have an ICT startup for which you wish to explore the opportunities in the US, this is your chance.

    Venture Cup has the power to nominate one (of a total of ten) startup for a competition to win a three month stay in Silicon Valley, where your startup can learn from the best of the best.


    What can I win?

    The winner is offered 3 months of free office facility at the Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley and 35 hours of sponsored consultancy from Innovation Center Denmark. Consultancy includes a US technology and market assessment, review board session with local experts and a tailored meeting program


    What is this competition about?

    Innovation Center Denmark is working to help Danish companies succeed in the US market. To give a startup the opportunity to learn about this huge market they are now hosting a closed business plan competition where Danish organisations working with growth companies can nominate startups they think has what it takes. Both well-established Venture Cup alumni companies and newer startups are eligible for the competition.


    When and how?

    You must express interest to Venture Cup by 20th of September 2009. We then choose our nominee and communicate this to Innovation Centre Denmark by September 30th 2009.

    Send your expression of interest to Venture Cup's Emil Hovgaard Jensen. The expression should include a short summary of your business, and your reasons for desiring the stay in Silicon Valley. Only high tech start-ups with an interest in the US market are eligible for the competition. It is a distinct advantage to be in the field of ICT or Green IT.
