  • 1. Venture Cup nominated for prize

    We are delighted to be between the three organisations to be nominated for “CONNECT Denmark Vækstinitiativet 2009”.

    The prize will be awarded to an organisation which has had great impact on either the debate or creation of the tools required to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, and which directly has contributed with more entrepreneurs in Denmark.

    CONNECT Denmark focuses on scalable growth start-ups, and Venture Cup introduces many of our leading alumni companies into their professional network.

  • 2. Workshop: How to write a winning Venture Cup business plan

    Venture Cups managing director Tine Thygesen shares her insights on what the jury has previously been know to look for when judging the competition. While the workshop also covers general content and purpose of writing a business plan, it also gives you the opportunity to discuss specific Venture Cup criteria, point scoring and an introduction to the jury panel.

    The workshop includes feedback on your business plan so please bring it along if you please.

    02 April 2009, simultaneously held at:
    ITU (Copenhagen) 9:30 – 13:00 and Posten (Odense) 9:30 – 15:30

    Venture Cup has the pleasure of being co-facilitator on two live streamings of NEXT Lounge (Nordic Exceptional Trendshop) which features 15 international profiles who will share their secrets, ideas, and insights. This is a unique chance to get close to some of today’s greatest minds.

    Practical information:
    The NEXT Lounges receive live transmissions from the conference (attendance kr 6.670). Attendance at the streamings are free. A bus is organised to take participants to the exhibition and afterparty in Århus and return you home at 00.00.

    Transport and entry cost 50 DKK which will be covered by Venture Cup for all people that will enter into our business plan competition (deadline 4 May). Contact zenia@venturecup.dk. Bus departs: 13:00 (Copenhagen, ITU) and 15:30 (Posten, Odense)
