    Guilty as charged! Yes, we are trying to lobby entrepreneurship, but only because we believe that it is the coolest thing you can do for your career! In the spirit of lobbyism, we have lined up the top 3 reasons for starting your own business while still in school:

    1) IT'S THE COOLEST STUDENT JOB
    Imagine having the freedom to make decisions, be your own boss and make money while you do something you love. We have helped more than 80 students become CEOs, and you can be the next one.

    2) IT'S VIRTUALLY RISK FREE
    Many cool companies can be set up with little money from the start and be run from home. You will get some great business skills even before you finish university, and SU has got your back!

    3) THERE'S TONS OF FREE HELP FOR STUDENT BUSINESS OWNERS
    If you send your business idea to Venture Cup be May 3rd, you’ll get free feedback from experienced business people and you can win 250.000DKK. On top of this, there are student startup incubators, financial grants, student entrepreneuship clubs and free mentorship programs. Ask us, we would love to help you!

  • 2. Your idea could win 250.000DKK – give it a try!

    We have lined up more than 100 startup and business plan experts in the jury. They are eagerly awaiting your business plan so they can give you some feedback that can help you develop your idea further! All entries get feedback from several people. See who they are

    The Venture Cup Startup Competition will award 50.000 DKK to the best business ideas of each of five categories:

    Software, Services, Applied Technology, Cleantech and Life Science & Medtech.


    The winners of each of the 5 categories will compete for an additional 200.000 DKK

    You can participate by submitting. a business plan of 10 - 20 pages about your idea by May 3rd, 2010 at midnight. NB! it is not a requirement that you have already started your business - this is a competition for new business ideas!

    PS: 100% confidentiality, all involved have signed non-disclosure agreements. You retain 100% of the ownership of the idea. Free for you to enter - we're paid by the universities

  • 3. Cool kick-off conference for entrepreneurs

    Venture Cup is part of the largest initiative promoting entrepreneurship in Copenhagen, together with the biggest players in the industry. We’re kicking off this new initiative called Next Generation at Børsen on the 19th of April. Drop by for a cool event and remember to sign-up @ nxtgen.dk
