For this event we have invited a former Venture Cup finalist and a true serial entrepreneur to tell his story and offer his view on the topic of budgets & financing; how do you make a budget - and why? How can looking at your numbers increase your chances of success in starting up your business, gaining finances ... and winning Venture Cup?
Meet Morten Brørup from SmartShare Systems, a world leading company which offers intelligent bandwidth management systems. Morten has a history of coming up with new products ahead of his time, and now he has hit the market at the right time. Morten is also a Venture Cup advisor, and he will provide the audience with tips on how to get the right investors!

Venture Cup is facilitating together with Innovation Lab a workshop called NEXT Lounge. NEXT lounge - which is short for Nordic Exceptional Trendshop - consists of cutting edge speakers, workshops and the innovation of tomorrow.
The NEXT Lounges receive live webcast transmissions from the conference venue in Århus. Lounges will be set up in Copenhagen, Aalborg, Århus and Odense on the 2nd of April 2009, from 9:30-15:30. After the first part of the program in your specific city - a bus will take you to the exhibition and afterparty in Århus and return you home late night at 00.00.

The jury is looking for an investment-ready business plan. They will not only look at the idea potential and business model, but also on how you plan to implement the business plan. If you want to know the exact questions the jury is asked to evaluate your business plan, read the Competition Criteria before submitting your business plan.
