ABOUT US
Venture Cup is the national entrepreneurship competition at Danish universities. We work to inspire students and researchers to develop their ideas into successful companies.
We focus on entrepreneurship as a practical discipline and we expose our participants to a network of experienced entrepreneurs and business people, who provide valuable advice on a volunteer basis because they share our interest in finding Denmark’s leading start-ups.
In addition, a first prize of 250,000 kr. is awarded to the best idea every year.
Venture Cup is supported by the Danish universities, and we partner with a broad range of companies; among them some of Denmark’s most successful.
Venture Cup was started by McKinsey & Company, and exists today as non-profit entities in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden. It is the largest business plan competition in the world.
Venture Cup exists for people with lofty ideas, for the ambitious, for the dreamers and the driven - and for those who want to make a difference.

Sådan lyder opfordringen til studerende på landets videregående uddannelser før idékonkurrencen Danish Innovation Tournament.
Konkurrencen giver de studerende ni dage til at løse en udfordring, filme løsningen og uploade videoen.
Udfordringen til konkurrencen bliver offentliggjort mandag den 1. november, og vinderne kåres den 19. november på uddannelseskonferencen.

Efter en uge med over 100 arrangementer i hele landet mødes vi på POWERbar og skyller alle vækstindtrykkene ned! Kom og nyd en kold øl eller et glas vin med iværksættere, iværksætterrådgivere og en række af organisationerne bag "POWER til iværksættere og virksomheder i vækst". Det foregår i ægte fredagsbar-stemning på Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (CSE).
