Our Profile:

NUSEA is the leading student organization that facilitates entrepreneurial and intellectual exchanges between Singapore and Silicon Valley. The organization is made up of a group of students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) who were shortlisted under the NUS Overseas College (NOC) program to work for a year in various startups in Silicon Valley while studying part-time entrepreneurship related courses at Stanford University.

The NOC program began in July 2001 with the establishment of NUS College in Silicon Valley. Today, NOC operates from five locations - Silicon Valley and Philadelphia (USA), Shanghai (China), Stockholm (Sweden), and Bangalore (India). The goal of NOC is to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit of NUS students and help them develop global mindsets by immersing them into leading entrepreneurial and academic hubs around the world.

Our Mission:

Promote entrepreneurship in both Silicon Valley and Singapore;
Establish a cohesive student community where lasting friendships are formed;
Expose our members to entrepreneurial-related activities via quality initiatives and outward-focused ventures;
Expand our network and alliances by forging strategic alliances with companies, individuals, professional and student entrepreneurial organizations in the valley.
