From the bizBarcelona Organization we would like to thank all contestants for taking part in the Global Entrepreneurship Competition! All presented projects were amazing!!
We would like to congratulate as well the winners of the competition:
1st Prize: Imprint Energy, Berkeley, nominated by David Charron at UC Berkeley
2n Prize: Deepscan, Thailand, nominated by Edward Rubesch at Thammasat Business School
3rd Prize: Microwave, Japan, nominated by Shigeo Kagami at University of Tokyo.
bizBarcelona 2011 is an international summit that will bring together corporate executives, entrepreneurs and investors from around the world on June 15th and16th, 2011. Together they will size up the latest international trends in innovation and technology, identify new commercial innovations, network with the international innovation community and formalize new businesses and investments.
bizBarcelona 2011 will also hold the 3rd Global Entrepreneurship Competition (GEC ’11) and Growth Company Competition (GCC '11), which will allow a select group of international entrepreneurs to present their business plans to an audience registered at and accredited by the bizBarcelona 2011 Summit.
Ventures and growth companies presented in Barcelona will be selected from among the best entrepreneurial projects by representatives from top entrepreneurship centers (business schools, incubators, technology parks, universities, angel investor networks, etc.) around the world.
Ventures and growth companies selected to present their projects in Barcelona will compete to win a variety of prizes.
