ABOUT US
Mark your calendar! The Stanford Entrepreneurship Network (SEN)are hosting the second annual Entrepreneurship Week at Stanford University, February 22-29, 2008. (http://eweek.stanford.edu) Everyone is invited!
Enjoy up to 14 events throughout the week, including prestigious speakers; roundtable discussions; a mixer with venture capitalists (VCs), students and entrepreneurs; VC/student "speed dating"; and a start-up job fair featuring 101 companies. Our goal is to ignite awareness about the importance of being entrepreneurial - whether that means starting a new business, developing an innovation for an existing company, or solving a societal problem.
Stanford will also host the Innovation Tournament, an exciting "Apprentice-style" team competition open to students around the world. We will launch the week with a keynote presentation by Stanford President John Hennessy and the world movie premiere of ImagineIt!, an inspiring documentary featuring numerous Stanford students competing in last year's Innovation Tournament. You can see the preview here.
Most events are free and open to the public. To see the full schedule and get details, visit the website at http://eweek.stanford.edu.
SEN is a federation of more than fifteen entrepreneurship-related organizations across campus that conduct research, teach and/or provide outreach services. (http://sen.stanford.edu) SEN programs, including Entrepreneurship Week, are generously underwritten by Deloitte, the global accounting and consulting firm.
